Just as you can be a tech geek without being a tech geek, you can also be a tech archivist without being a tech archivist.
Tech archives are like art collection libraries. They tend to focus on specific fields, like robotics or medical history, that are often of interest to a specific group, and thus offer a little more than a general interest collection of books and movies. Tech archivists tend to be more interested in technology than art, so there is a lot to choose from, and they tend to like things with a science-y bent.
There is a lot out there, but the ones that are of more than passing interest to tech archivists tend to be more specialized. If you’re into robotics, for example, you’ll likely find that the robotics archivists of the world tend to be much more interested in the history of the company that built the robot than in its technology. Same for biochemistry.
The same goes for the music and fashion archivists. They tend to be much more interested in the history of the artist or designer than in the music or fashion.
The reason why I think techarch is different from most other archivists is because you can see the history of a product in the development of it. A biotech company can’t build a new drug all at once, it has to come up with a new version of a drug every year in order to keep producing it. Same with a fashion designer, because when you have a new piece of clothing, you have to keep making it until you find a new one that is better.
A designer makes a piece of clothing that is better than the original, because he can see the evolution of a fashion style. A biotech company can make an exact copy of a drug every year because the company is not willing to stop making it.
A biotech company has also found a drug that no longer causes side effects, so they are able to make an exact copy of that drug without any side-effects. The company’s name is biotech, and they are also called biotech.org, but their headquarters are in New York City.
Techarch, on the other hand, is a company that makes clothes that are even better than the originals, because they can see the evolution of a fashion style. Techarch is actually a really cool idea. A few years ago a group of scientists in China made a drug that would let them see the evolution of a certain fashion style. They were working on a new look for a particular type of company and wanted to make sure they had a head start. These scientists saw an opportunity to make clothes that had the exact same look as the original, so that they could continue to make the drug and keep doing research and development.
The problem is that the drug didn’t work the same way on everyone. It only worked on a certain number of people. Even though it’s a cool idea, I have no idea if it’s going to be worth the trouble to make it commercially viable.
