I was recently contacted by a new customer who had found my blog and asked if they could change their name. I was immediately excited, because he had so many great reviews online and I was always so happy to hear from new customers.
The customer was surprised that I had not heard about this, but was still happy to be able to change his name, particularly when he was already having success with it. It’s been a while since I’ve done a blog post with a name change and I have to admit I don’t remember much about it.
I think I had to do some digging to remember what my name was. I was surprised that I hadn’t thought of this before, but I also have to say that I am so glad I did! Even in the past, Ive been so reluctant to change my name (in my own opinion) because Ive found myself avoiding it and avoiding having a blog post. The name change is one of those things that Ive learned over time and I feel so much safer with it now.
The name change is a good one because it makes sense for everyone. You wouldn’t have much of an excuse to not wear a different name. You could also use it to avoid getting sued by a certain person. If you have to change your name, you have to change it NOW, or else you will definitely have to change it in the future. If you’ve never been named after your real life name, be prepared to spend the rest of your life avoiding seeing it.
I am NOT saying this to sound dramatic, but sometimes we need to change our names in order to fit into society. Ive seen many of my friends become victims of identity theft, and we all get very protective of our names. If youve seen the comments about how names can be used to dupe people into giving up their information without their permission, you are the last person I would want to hear it.

I’ve always had this name, but every time I got married or divorced my family changed it to some other name. I was the only person that they would let name change without permission.
