the “cognitive dissonance.
Cognitive dissonance refers to the feeling that we have two contradictory ideas at the same time. When we do this, we usually feel like the ideas are conflicting, or they are mutually exclusive. When we are unable to process these ideas, we feel like we are in a loop, unable to move forward. In the case of Deathloop, we are presented with multiple ideas at the same time, and we have to decide which one is more important.
Imagine having a computer with only one slot to put all of your files. You wouldn’t necessarily feel too guilty about putting in a bunch of games, music, and movies, but it would be difficult to decide which ones to save. Imagine that you didn’t know your computer had one slot to put all your files on it.
The reason most of our ideas are so limited is because we are still in the process of learning how to think. As a result, we are very limited in what we can process.
One of the most important things we are learning is how to think and process information as well as the ability to do this without paying any attention to the information we are doing. This is a difficult skill to learn and one that will take a bit of time to master. We will learn how to think more consciously and process information more slowly but it is important to remember that we have limited capacity for processing information.
Learning to think and process information is one of the hardest things to do. In fact, it can be so hard that people who have lost their mental faculty can actually be diagnosed with “cognitive dementia.
For example, someone who has a cognitive impediment (e.g., Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease) can sometimes only process a few words at a time. That’s because the information in the brain is so complex and it takes a long time for the brain to process it. You can think of this as the “information-processing bottleneck” of the brain.
The fact that consumers have limited capacity for processing information is referred to as a cognitive impediment. This is when you have a difficult time processing complex ideas and things, or being able to think about them to their best of your ability. Most cognitive impediments are due to diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Mild Cognitive Impairment.
As our brains deteriorate, this ability is diminished as well, which can lead to cognitive impediments.
