When I talk with tech talent, most of them have been in the industry for a long time. I’ve heard many people say, “I’m an entrepreneur and I’ve built several successful companies, but I don’t know how to collaborate.” The reason that most people don’t know how to collaborate is because they don’t know what it means.
Collaboration is the act of working together to accomplish a goal. Collaboration means that each person involved understands that the goal is to accomplish the goal and that they have the tools (people, money, equipment, etc) they need to accomplish their goal. They are all working toward the goal together, and the goal itself has to be something that they all support or else it will not be accomplished.
Most people don’t realize that they are working together, but a lot of people are like, “I’m working on a project or something, but I don’t have anything to do with the other people, I just do my own thing.” So they think they are working together, but they aren’t.
The problem is, when you are working with others on a team, you are working with others and you have to think about the “why”. You are not the only person working on a project. You must all have the same goal, or else you can’t accomplish the goal together. If you have the same goal, then you can accomplish it together. If you don’t have the goal, then you can’t accomplish the goal together.
As a team, we have a lot of different goals, but we all want to accomplish the same thing, which is to complete our mission. However, we must all work together to achieve the same goal. However, if we don’t all work together, then we cant accomplish the goal.
It’s not just about collaboration though. It’s also about the team’s goal. If all our goals are to accomplish the same thing, then we can accomplish the goal together. If we dont all work together, then we cant accomplish the goal together. We must all work together to accomplish the same goal. If we dont all work together, then we cant accomplish the goal together.
There are times that the people in different teams work together, but only if the goal is the same. For example, if we all want to have a great video game release, we all need to be able to work together on the video game release. If we dont all work together, then we cant accomplish the goal together.
All people work together, and this means we all work together for the same goal (in no particular order). We must all work together to accomplish the same goal. If we all work together to accomplish the same goal, then we cant accomplish the goal together.
We must create something memorable on our way to completion. A great video game trailer, but one that is supposed to be something that happens for the next day or two. It’s the sort of thing we hope to do when we get to the next level.
