“Operations associate.” You know, that title that everyone gives you when you apply for jobs? And then, you know, everyone else hates you.
The title of the job doesn’t matter as long as you’re able to do the job. When I was in college, I was tasked with a job that required me to operate a large network of computers. To do this job, I had to be able to use a broad array of different computers, each of which had its own unique function. This job required me to manage and maintain these machines and to supervise staff that was on them (including myself).
I think it was the time I had to operate a large network of computers that was the worst. Working with computers that were so new to me, each one was a completely different way of working. The other people I worked with, each of them had many different styles of using computers. Everyone worked in a different way. Some people used computers to perform simple tasks; others used computers to perform more sophisticated tasks such as word processing, database management, graphics programming, and so on.
The best job I have ever had is the operations associate position. Most people don’t realize that. The operations associate position is the most entry-level job you can get. You don’t even have to know what a database management system (and all the other software) is. It’s just this guy who has to run everything.
In the operations associate job description, you get to work in a very narrow range of tasks. This means that if you like the job, you can do it. If you don’t like the job, you have to work harder. No matter what, you get to do the most boring, repetitive tasks that no one else on the team wants to do.
Its like how the first year of my first job was a boring, repetitive, and thankless first year. But I did love it. I worked for about two years and I learned a lot. But if you do a job well, you may find yourself loving it more than the first year.
The job description for an operations associate (or OA) is that they are used to working with systems and software with a lot of code, which is a lot of code. They don’t have to have a lot of coding knowledge, so it can be very rewarding.
I think this is one of those jobs that you have to work very hard to figure out what you want, but once you figure it out you are very happy. The one thing that I would have loved to have done, and that I wish I had done was to have gone back to school and studied computer science or some other field that would have given me a better understanding of the software I was writing. It would have been helpful in figuring out how to write better code.
As it turns out, Colt Vahn (who we first met in the Deathloop story trailer) has an important job in the operations department of the company. It’s a position that requires more than just coding knowledge, so it can be very rewarding. I wouldn’t be surprised to see all the other employees working overtime to find him a wife and kids.
He is also a good friend of the main character, Colt Vahn from the Deathloop trailer. If we’re being honest with ourselves, we know you can’t get away with murdering someone if it wasnt for a bit of trust. I think the more we learn about this character the more we will admire him. It’s important to know who you are and what you value.
