Many online communities have guidelines regarding what they consider to be “meta” behavior, so that we can make good decisions. But we also don’t have any guidelines for what to do when we don’t want to do it. We have no guidelines that say we should be making money or being happy. We have no guidelines that say we should be doing what makes us feel good.
I personally have always believed that the best way to be happy is to do what makes us feel good. It is what keeps us from getting hurt or depressed. This doesn’t mean we should do something to make us feel better, but it does mean that we need to do what makes us feel good.
Are you sure you want to do it? You may not believe it, but it’s not a good way to be happy. If you find yourself in a situation where you think you’ll need to do something to make yourself feel better, then you have to do it. If you do it, you need to do it. If you dont believe it, then you have a problem.
