I love this idea because it’s so simple but so powerful. It’s the ability to always be ready, no matter what is going on. Whether you’re in the grocery store, waiting for someone to pick you up, or preparing to sit down for that night’s dinner, you can always be ready. No matter how busy you are, you can always be ready.
The ability to always be ready is a skill that has existed for ages. In fact, there are many different ways to be ready. What has changed, especially for the last few years, is the amount of stress that comes with being unable to always be ready. Most of us are so wrapped up in the moment that we don’t realize we’re being controlled by the constant need to be in the moment. So, we usually go into autopilot mode.
We need to be ready for something. Maybe for work, maybe for social situations or even for a deadline. It could be a job interview, a date, or a deadline. To be ready for these things, we have to be in the right frame of mind. We need to be mentally prepared to do the things we are going to do. The best way to be prepared is to be in the right mindset.
I have a friend who’s an author. After he finishes a book, he tries to get his ideas out to his friends and family. For a lot of people though, they don’t want to hear about their own personal life. They want to discuss the big picture. And most of them never get that chance.
Most of us are in the same boat. I mean, I know I’m not! The big picture, right? I want to talk about the big picture, but in the wrong frame of mind. The big picture is a lot more interesting than the little details of our life. We all have these little things that we need to focus on. We need to be in the right frame of mind.
I think my sister is one of those people. She just watches everything on the news and I have a lot of respect for her. But I dont think she has the right frame of mind for that. She is doing it for her mother and that is not the same. I mean, even if she was doing it for her mother, she would still need to focus on the big picture, not the little things.
I think the other person I am really close to is my sister. She is really the smartest person I know. I think she is always thinking about the big picture and helping people. It is just hard to be around her and not be distracted by the little things.
I used to be that way. I always did everything for the big picture. But now I think I can do a lot more than that. I think I am finally getting better at it. And now I can do it with you.
So it turns out that you can’t focus on the little things when you’re with your sister. She’s always talking about the big picture but also keeps you from noticing it. And she’s right. You can’t get your own focus, even though you are the smartest person you know, if you neglect the little things. You can’t focus on the big picture if you don’t focus on the little things.
This is when “big picture” and “little things” get muddled together. When it’s not the small things that you’re concerned with, but the big things themselves. When you don’t have a strategy for how to tackle something, just letting it go will generally result in your own demise.
