I just graduated with a BS in computer systems and I decided that I wanted to find a job that wasn’t always filled with people who were younger than me. I saw a post on facebook by a recruiter, and I thought that it might be a good fit. After talking to a few people, I found that there was a job that was open, but it was a full time position, and the hours were pretty crazy.
The job was the director of recruiting for a large software company. I decided that I would stay and work on the company’s website, and they said that they would talk to my parents about me going to school full time. I did the math, and I was accepted into the school, but the company would pay me half time for the rest of the year.
Although I don’t know why I should be shocked, it turns out that this company is one of the largest software companies in the world. So I guess it seems a bit odd that I would be asked to come work at night at one of their “dark sites” with no pay. But I can’t complain about the offer.
Some people say that you can’t get a degree in software because they have no idea what they’re talking about. I don’t know of any other software company that can.
This is the first time I’ve ever mentioned this to anyone, and I’m really surprised at how much of this conversation I have been able to share with you. I guess it was a bit of an ego thing. I guess it’s not like I’m just talking about my work or my education.
I have a degree in computer science, and I think you can get a degree in software programming without getting a degree in computer science. Sure, someone may tell you that theyve got a college degree in computer science, but they dont really know what theyre talking about. They may say they know all about programming, but if you ask them if theyve seen a working program theyve written, theyll probably answer no. The same thing goes for a degree in software programming.
As software professionals, we learn the software we code. That is, we learn the code (which is what we call the documentation) that we will use to help people who use the software we provide. In many cases, this is done through formal education, but in others, it is done through practice during the course of work. For instance, I used to write documentation manually during my work, but now I use the documentation tool “Code.
The problem is that when you program a piece of software that you depend on, you are essentially programming for a future company or organization that you will one day have to support. In the case of a software developer, that means using a programming language like C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, or Python. When you’re ready to code for your company, you take your programming skills (and you don’t know it) and you go and learn how to program for that company.
The problem is that when you program for your company you are programming for the future. Not only are you learning for yourself, but your company will be learning from you. When you learn to code in PHP, you also learn to code in different languages that your company is likely to use in the future. When you learn Python or Ruby, you can then learn to program in other languages that you would learn if you are interested in programming for that company.
The key to being able to learn a new language is to learn the language that will allow you to learn it.
