I’ve always known that I needed to use a unique login name and password for each site I work with, but I never knew how to get the password right. Recently, I finally figured out how to do it right.
With aws, you create a unique name that you can use across multiple sites. It’s important to have a good reason for keeping this username and password separate, and to avoid scaring away existing users with the idea that your site will be taken over by robots. The advantage of this is that the password itself will remain unique from user to user, so even if your site has a number of bots, you can still have your users log in with the same password.
This is a good idea, but I can’t help but wonder if this would be easier to do if there was a password manager. A lot of online services offer usernames and passwords, but if you want to give a unique login name to your site, this could be a huge pain in the ass.
I am not sure what this is going to do for your users passwords. The only thing you will lose here is the data. And of course this is going to be a huge security concern, but I doubt anyone can easily hack your site with the amount of information stored in a single password.
This is an interesting development. I have been using a service like this for a while now. The only thing I have to remember is that you have to change your password, which is a pain. I think I will just stick with my old password.
As I said, some of the services I use change my passwords every time I log out, but this one is going to change my passwords every time I log in. So long as you have a really good password, this should be safe, right? For what it’s worth, this isn’t the first time I’ve heard this. In the last few months I’ve seen this discussed on several forums.
Yeah, its not the first time someone has suggested that a “really good password” would be a good thing. But it is the first time Ive seen someone propose that it would be a good thing. So it is a good thing.
I think this is the first time that Ive seen anyone propose that using a really good password would be a good thing. I mean, Ive seen people do this quite a bit (I think the original poster was talking about this time-saver, not passwords), but Ive not seen a lot of people use them. The funny thing is that Ive seen a lot of passwords that are not really that good (for example, my username is not really that great).
It’s true that passwords are hard to remember and the internet is not an easy place to remember some random characters. But the point here isn’t that all passwords are bad. The point is that most people are not using passwords that are good enough. The point is that most of us spend a good deal of our time in our systems just using passwords that are easy and memorable to remember. Ive seen a lot of people who are using passwords they couldnt remember all the time.
A good password is a good password. Its like a password that makes you think once you know it. Most of the time the only time we find out that a password was right is when its not right. We just forget that we needed it.
