When you’re working as a manager, it can be a rare occasion to go above and beyond your pay to help your team members. But when you’re a manager, it’s not just more pay. It’s a way to support your team in a way that’s meaningful and appreciated.
One of the key benefits of being a manager is that it allows you to make a difference in people’s lives. And the more you make a difference in other people’s lives, the more they feel like you care about them. When youre making a difference in their life, they feel like they have a stake in you, youre not just a salary, youre a friend. Youre not just a manager, youre a person.
I was recently talking to a friend of mine who had been hired as a manager at an advertising agency. He said he had become a slave to that job. He was never given a break and had the job at the mercy of people he did not care about. He was constantly told, “I want to do this. I want to do that,” even when he was clearly doing something wrong.
I’d like to point out how our accenture strategy manager salary is just a job. It’s just a job, but it is a job nonetheless. The boss isn’t the boss. The employee isn’t the employee. The boss has a job, but the employee has a friend, and their job is to make that friend feel good.
We know this is true because of a recent article in a German magazine called Zebra. Its a story about how the German government tried to get people to “emigrate” to the country, but they failed. Its a great article, I just want to highlight the fact that many Germans believe accenture strategy managers are lazy, lazy people who just want to work for free. They don’t want to do anything, simply because it is a job, and it is free.
Yes we are lazy, we only want to do what others tell us to do, and we are willing to do it at the expense of our own personal happiness. There is a difference between self-awareness and self-deprivation. If you work for free, it is likely you will be happier.
Yes, it does depend on the manager. For a German accenture manager, they are likely to do things on the side that they enjoy (e.g. running a successful business, playing a game) to help the company. But most German accenture managers are not lazy. They are just not in the habit of working for free.
One of the reasons I am happy that I am single is that I am always free to do whatever I want. Whether or not I am actually happy with my job, I do not have to pay for it. If I have the money to pay for a latte, I can pay for it. So I am not completely self-aware about my own happiness. My happiness does not depend on the happiness of other people. If I am happy in my job, that is all that matters.
That is a rather harsh statement. The truth is that in this day and age, being independent, not having to pay for anything, being able to do and say what one wants without having to worry about being paid for it, etc. are all things that are becoming more and more important to people all over the world. That is the main reason why you see people all over the world working for themselves and not for companies.
I think this was an interview I did recently with a high-school friend of mine. It was more nuanced than that, but it was the same point. We all live in this world. People are either independent or dependent, they either have it or they don’t.
