I am a Microsoft employee so I have to say that I am extremely proud of what our company has accomplished in the past year. We are in a new era of technology and we are doing all that we can to help others use what we have in the way that we hope they will. Microsoft has created a new type of software called Microsoft Sustainability Technology, and it is available to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
I can’t help but laugh at the’microsoft sustainability jobs’ headline. It seems like many of us have been busy working on the’microsoft sustainability’ tagline for a while now. But I think we’re missing the point. Sustainability is not a tagline. Sustainability is not a phrase. Sustainability is a way of life.

Microsoft has a new “Sustainability” job posted up for Microsoft employees. According to the description, the role is to “[c]omment on environmental sustainability of Microsoft products and services.” The job description doesn’t seem to mention anything about the company’s environmental policy, but I guess it’s best not to assume anything about the company’s policies.
The job description mentions a variety of green and ethical issues, but doesn’t say anything about Microsoft, or its products or services. It also says that the job is open to all employees.

That being said, Microsoft is a for profit company, so it makes sense that they want to hire more people to work on these sorts of issues. It also makes sense that most of them would be familiar with the current environmental policies, but as the job description is from a for profit, so it would make sense to have a few more people working on that aspect of Microsoft, and maybe even the environmental policy.
A company like Microsoft is one that wants to hire people who will give them a competitive advantage in the marketplace. These kinds of companies are generally companies that are large in size and who operate in a global corporation. They want big-name consultants, and it can be nice for the company to have people who can do things like write about how Microsoft is doing things in a certain area.
I’m sure at Microsoft there are plenty of people who are genuinely interested in the sustainability of the company. I’m sure there are also plenty who want to do a good job at it. It’s good for Microsoft to hire people who are interested in the company, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to hire people who are not interested in the company.
